Quantware: $178M Series B & VIO Quantum Chip Scaling

Quantware's co-founder and CEO Matt introduces the company's $178 million Series B and its VIO (vertical I/O) scaling technology for quantum processors, with plans to ship 10,000-qubit processors by 2028 and a new production facility, KiloFab, to multiply output 20x. He reacts to the Anthropic–SpaceX compute deal as proof that compute is the most sought-after commodity, agrees with Larry Fink that compute will become a tradable asset class while warning that quantum disruption needs to be priced into those futures, and stresses quantum complements rather than replaces classical compute. He describes Quantware as the first commercial supplier of quantum processors, selling VIO modules, foundry services and chip packaging to customers in 20 countries, and points people to quantware.com for the new white paper and open roles.
