Robin of Hyperdrives: A 'Turbocharger' for Electric Motors
Robin, co-founder and CEO of Hyperdrives, explains their cooling technology that extracts twice the power from the same electric motor package — or downsizes the motor at equal power — for cars, trucks, eVTOLs, drones and marine, sold as hardware to project customers and licensed to OEMs and tier-ones. He argues electrification of transport is inevitable because renewable electricity will become so cheap and EVs are simply better products, dismissing Porsche's EV pullback as a Western dip, and says only hardware and software innovation can counter Chinese EV competition, which risk-averse Germany/Europe struggles with. He also explains why Slush is the only tech conference he attends.
