WHAT’S HAPPENING TODAY
SpaceXAI has released Grok Bot, software designed to work like a team of AI agents that field tasks throughout the day. The bots can sign into apps and websites, remember what they did on earlier jobs, and pass context between one another to get work done with little supervision. Rather than working inside a sandbox, each Grok Bot gets a dedicated cloud computer and logs into the tools you already use.
The company says it’s already deployed the system internally, including bots that find sales leads and retrieve receipts from the finance team’s inbox.
SpaceXAI’s AI-agent push has accelerated sharply in recent months. After trailing rivals, they rolled out a coding agent in May and released Grok 4.5, developed in partnership with Cursor.
It arrives at a pivotal moment. AI agents that can log into your tools and work autonomously are drawing huge attention and a string of rogue incidents has put them under intense scrutiny. Musk is doubling down on agents just as concerns over their risks are mounting.

Atlassian CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes challenged fears of a “SaaSpocalypse,” in which AI enables companies to build their own tools and puts software vendors out of business.
On yesterday’s show, he argued that as software gets cheaper to build, we’ll need more developers, not fewer. "If something costs you half as much to create, you can choose where to put that saving. You can create twice as much technology."
